I really enjoy competing & love to challenge myself as well as just enjoying the relationship with and bringing out the best over time in my horses.  I competed British dressage at prelim & novice level a few years ago with a previous horse & have now just begun again at prelim with my current horse. I hope now to continue up the levels with my mare who I have had from shortly after she was backed as well as with my homebred youngster who is just starting out. As a teenager I was a keen pony club member and enjoyed rallies & camp as well as having great fun competing at unaffiliated showjumping with my pony who loved to jump. I have also enjoyed presenting homebred youngsters at the futurities & have welcomed the feedback & the experience they gain from these outings as well as gaining higher first premiums, first premiums & golds in the past. I have successfully presented several mares for grading and my pony mare was reserve supreme champion of the sports pony mare grading in 2019. In the last few years I have been able to foal down some of my own youngsters at home & love the process of watching them grow up, shaping their experiences & subsequently backing & bringing them on & I have recently bought a Thoroughbred mare who was racing until very recently to retrain from scratch myself.
